| I was in Nam from fall 69 to spring 71 (total 19 months),
spending over a year in AnKhe. My MOS was 31J (radio teletype repair)
which was totally useless in Nam as it was Korea era technology and Nam was
well into higher electronics. I spent most of my days repairing radios,
running evac runs to Qui Nhon with radio equipment too badly damaged to repair
